Aeration
The time and method to prune depend on the plant. While some plants look best when sheared, others require more selective pruning. The practice of pruning can occur at different times of the year. Typically, our pruning for trees occurs in the late winter. Deciduous shrubs are pruned in the spring or summer. Evergreen shrubs are pruned after the new growth has emerged. After the plants are pruned we clean all fallen debris. Most often, clippings are raked into piles and then collected. To finish off, we use our blowers to lightly disperse any remaining clippings from your landscape beds.

Pruning
To receive the most benefit from this service, we recommend it be done in the spring or fall. Aeration is the process of removing tiny cores of soil. This allows water, moisture and nutrients to enter the soil easier. It also benefits heavily compacted soil. Lawns actively grow in the cooler seasons. By aerating in the spring or fall, the lawn is more apt to grow and recover.

Landscape Clean Up
In the beginning of spring, we offer a spring clean up. This includes removing fallen branches, raking sticks and collecting left over leaves. The landscape beds get a thorough cleaning. Decks, walkways and patios get blown or swept. The debris we gather can be left at curbside or can be hauled to an appropriate dumpsite. In the fall, we offer a leaf clean up service. Depending on your schedule, we make regular visits to gather leaves. Leaves can be hauled to the curb, relocated to an appropriate site on your property or hauled away.
